Fidelity train from Istanbul to Hasankeyf and football fan group opened banner for Hasankeyf (29.08.2007)

On the 27th August 2007 the 2nd Hasankeyf Fidelity Train (the 1st was in 2005) with more than 300 people went from Istanbul to Hasankeyf. On the 29th August these people arrived in Hasankeyf where they were received by the local population.

 

The same day a fan group of the famous football club “Besiktas Istanbul” has opened a banner during a match. Çarşı, the biggest fan group of Beşiktaş Footbal Club in Turkey opened the banner during the football game saying “Let Hasan to enjoy, do not let Hasankeyf to be flooded”. Çarşı is known for its sensitivity to reflect public opinions and preoccupations.
